Free overnight stays in premier resorts and numerous discounts are just among the few things offered in this year’s Travel Tour Expo. The three-day 16th Travel Tour Expo (TTE) will open on February 6 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The event is set to give away dream vacation packages in some of the country’s top resorts and hotels to some of the lucky visitors of the event.

Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) and considered as the biggest annual travel and tourism event in the country, this year’s TTE is loaded with close to P 1 million in raffle prizes.

PTAA past immediate president and TTE organizing committee chairman Jose Clemente III said they want to give the public an opportunity to visit some of the most exciting places in the country for free.

“We have dubbed this year’s edition of the expo Travel in Style, and we will make sure that some of those going to the event will indeed be travelling to some of the most fabulous resorts in the country,” Clemente said.

The first batch of raffle prizes that will be given out are overnight stays in luxury resorts in Boracay, Cavite, Corregidor, and Palawan.

Lucky visitors will have a chance to leave the expo with an overnight stay for one or two persons in Alegre Beach Resort, Caylabne Beach Resort, Club Paradise, Corregidor Island, El Rio Y Mar, Patio Pacific Boracay, and Plantation Bay Resort & Spa.

They can also get free overnight accommodations at the Microtel Inn & Suits in Baguio, Batangas, Boracay, Cabanatuan, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, and Tarlac.

“We have always believed the public should come out of our expo very much satisfied by giving them a chance to [go to] their dream destinations at highly discounted rates, [experience] quality entertainment, and [win] high-end raffle prizes,” Clemente said.

The event is participated in by some of the biggest international and domestic airlines, cruise operators, health and wellness companies, hotels, and resorts. To be qualified for the raffle, visitors need only to purchase a single or combined P 5,000 worth of domestic or international travel tickets or packages from participating exhibitor companies during the expo.

Aside from having great finds and numerous discounts during the travel expo, the event will also be an ideal place to scout for new locations to spend the holidays and long weekends with friends and relatives. Mapping out where to go next and what things could be done in various locations while having the lowest rates, and even a chance to go for free, was among the reasons why the event last year was successful.

With the same concept and even more prizes to be won, this year’s Travel Tour Expo will definitely be successful.
